If you are like many people, you may think that any welder can do pretty much any welding job. Well my friend, I’m here to tell you that is not the case. Machines have certain limits and power restrictions based on the model. That is why it is essential to learn about your options before you decide on the welder that can accomplish what you need it to on a regular basis. This is a review on the Lincoln Electric Precision 225 K2535-1 TIG Welder. Here you will find the specs and features as well as a section devoted to customer reviews and scores.

Basic Control Panel—Easy to Set
If you want a welder that only has a few knobs and switches, this may be a model to consider. With only three knobs to set before you start welding; it takes no time at all to get your machine set so you can get work done. In addition, it has a digital readout located in the control panel so you can accurately read and set your amperage for precise welds.
Patented Technology = Premium Features
This machine is also simple to operate because it features a number of patented technologies that are designed with performance and capability in mind. One such feature is the Micro-Start™ II technology, which provides stable, low amperage start, welding and cratering for AC and DC welding. The other feature that I want to mention is the AC auto-balance® that sets idealscrubbing and penetration intensities for aluminum welding.
Expert Features at a Reasonable Price
Unlike some other welders, you won’t end up spending your kid’s college tuition on this machine. It is relatively reasonably priced yet it delivers when you need it to. It has a nice design that promotes organization and it also has an air-cooled torch that meets the Pro-Torch PTA-17 quality standards. In fact the machine itself is CSA C/US certified, meaning that it’s up to safety and performance standards.

Customer Reviews and Scores Of Lincoln Electric Precision 225
The Lincoln 225 K2535-1 TIG Welder only has three reviews on the page that sells this machine without a cart and the total star rating is 4.8 out of 5 stars. On the listing that includes the cart there are three more reviews that have a total star rating of 4 out of 5 stars. If you combine the two separate star ratings and then divide it by two you will come up with the average star rating which in this case turns out to be 4.4 stars out of 5. I’ve included two reviews so you can get an idea of what people who use this machine have to say about it.
“Lincoln Electric has produced a great product here. It’s easy to use and makes me look like an expert welder, which I’m not. “
“I deducted 1 star for the limited duty cycle of 10% at the upper end of the amperage range. I never hit the duty cycle but I was only making 2″ long welds which probably only took 5 seconds.”
“I deducted another star because this welder DOES NOT come with a stick stinger and twist-mate cable. That was an added expense of ~$70.”
